Policy

This is meant to help you familiarize yourself with the policies and practices of Suburban Pro Studios. In order for your session to run smoothly, we recommend that you read this entire document and address any questions you may have to us. Any questions should be directed to studio@suburbanprostudios.com or in person.

1. Session Booking
In order to reserve time in the studio, you must schedule a session. It is recommended that you do this at least 1 week in advance in order to secure the time you would like. A copy of the studio’s schedule is available 24/7 at http://schedule.suburbanprostudios.com/. This is the most recent copy of our schedule, but is subject to change. If you would like to submit a request for studio time you can e-mail us at booking@suburbanprostudios.com, or call us at 314-838-4344.

2. Deposits
In order to secure your time in the studio, we require a $50 deposit in advance of your time. This policy guarantees that the time you want is available for you.

3. Booked Time
You are responsible to fulfill your commitment for the time booked. Your session will begin at your scheduled time, whether you are present or not, and will continue for the scheduled amount. If additional time is needed to record, mix, master, or burn additional reference CD’s then you will be charged the normal rate for the session until these activities are completed.
Additional mixes (i.e. acapellas, instrumentals, radio edits, etc…) of your material should be made during booked studio hours.
Session setup may be needed for some sessions. This includes microphone setup, headphone setup, and any other things related to the recording process.
Sometimes a computer may crash or other technical mishaps may happen. Although this situation is highly unlikely, it is not our fault and you will continue to be charged for the time. We will work diligently to correct the problem as quickly as possible. If such a mishap takes more than 30 minutes to correct, you will not be charged for this time.

4. Studio Operation
We understand that studio hours can be long and that you will probably need to eat, drink, smoke, etc… throughout the session. We have areas in the studio designated for this. Eating, drinking and smoking prohibited in the booths, guitar closets, and control room. Please limit these activities to the designated areas and keep these areas clean.
You are responsible for the people attending your session. If anything is broken and/or requires repair due to someone in your group, you will be held financially responsible for the damage.
Although the probability of data loss is low, you are responsible for your own data. Suburban Pro Studios accepts absolutely no responsibility for the integrity of your data. You may bring in your own hard drives to record on, or you may use ours. Data stored on either of these is your responsibility and should be checked for accuracy. A single CD audio master at the end of each session. If you need a DVD printed of your data please let us know.

5. Addition Materials
At the end of your session, we will provide you with one CD audio master. You may purchase additional data DVD’s and additional CD’s. If you should need additional materials outside of a booked session, please let us know.

6. Guests
We understand that the recording process can be exciting and fun. Guests such as family and friends are welcome. However, please inform them not to be a distraction to the session. If your guests become disruptive, they will be asked to leave. You are responsible for any and all damage caused by your guests.
